01 The story, in three paragraphs

Why everyone keeps coming back.

Mirador Restaurant is a vibrant Dominican culinary gem nestled in the heart of the Bronx at 1452 Westchester Ave. Specializing in authentic Dominican cuisine, this eatery offers an immersive dining experience where each dish tells a story of rich flavors, tradition, and heartfelt preparation. Whether you’re craving a hearty breakfast or a sumptuous main course, Mirador delivers with passion and finesse.

Start your day right with their All Day Breakfast menu favorites like Tres Golpes Queso Frito—a delightful trio of crispy fried cheese, savory salami, a perfectly cooked egg, and creamy mashed plantains (mangu). The comforting combination sings with luscious textures and bold tastes. Another crowd-pleaser is the classic American cheese omelet paired with crispy French fries, offering a familiar yet hearty start to your morning. For those who appreciate traditional Dominican breakfast, the Huevos A Su Gusto with cheese or bacon alongside mashed plantains is a harmonious blend of richness and comfort.

Venturing into their rice selections, Mirador truly shines. Dive into the Arroz Con Pollo, where tender chicken melds seamlessly with flavorful rice, dancing with a medley of spices that evoke the Caribbean sun. For a more indulgent experience, the Paella Valenciana and Chofan De Mariscos Y Pollo (seafood and chicken chow fan) accommodate two, perfect for sharing and savoring a symphony of fresh seafood, succulent chicken, and aromatic saffron-infused rice. The Arroz Con Calamares and Arroz Con Camarones offer luscious seafood options that showcase the freshness and depth of Dominican coastal flavors.

Don’t forget to conclude your meal with one of their irresistible desserts. The classic Tres Leches cake delivers a moist, velvety sweetness, while the creamy Flan Caramel offers a rich caramel finish to cleanse your palate. For something lighter but equally nostalgic, the Arroz Con Leche (rice pudding) and Bizcocho De Piña (pineapple cake) bring the perfect balance of sweet and fresh notes.

What truly elevates Mirador Restaurant beyond its delicious menu is its warm, welcoming atmosphere and attentive service. Guests repeatedly praise the staff’s friendliness and readiness to assist with menu recommendations, ensuring every visit feels personal and memorable. As Isaac Lopez shares, the staff’s helpfulness combined with the mouthwatering dishes creates an experience worth returning for. Loyal patrons like Giselle Cancel celebrate the restaurant’s authentic flavors and value, highlighting how Mirador stands apart in the neighborhood.

From the moment you walk in, the inviting aromas of spices and freshly cooked meals greet you, making you feel like you’ve been transported to a Caribbean kitchen. The atmosphere is casual but thoughtfully arranged to foster a sense of community—ideal for both intimate meals and lively gatherings. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, Mirador Restaurant beckons with its genuine flavors, generous portions, and heartfelt hospitality.

For anyone eager to savor true Dominican flavors crafted with care, Mirador Restaurant is not just a meal destination—it’s a celebration of culture, comfort, and culinary excellence in the Bronx.

Everyone was super friendly. Came in for a specific dish recommended to me, but I didn't know the name of the dish. The person attending was very helpful and I have to say the meal was amazing. The food looks and tastes great. Will definitely come again.

This is the BEST Spanish restaurant in the neighborhood. I've tried all the other's but there is no place like Mirador Restaurant. Their food is authentic to the very bone! Very flavorful, well seasoned, and cooked all at a reasonable price. Im truly amazed. I have ordered a bunch of times and have never been disappointed. They have single handedly won my loyalty I don't always eat out but when I do they will ALWAYS be my go to restaurant! I thank them for their delicious food and great customer service

I had the chicharron de pollo with white rice and red beans and they were really tasty! Next time I need to ask for lime for the chicharron de pollo and more of those little dressing things that come with the combo. Idk what it was but the creamier one tastes really good with the tostones and the thinner dressing elevated the flavor of the red beans!

This is my favorite food spot after trying it last year. They’re very friendly and recognize me by face now. My favorite thing to order is the chicharron sin hueso with fries and a side of rice. Very filling. And their Pina Coladas are insanely good!!
